Directions to Reach Lodge:
From Windhoek
Take the B1 from Okahandja towards Otjiwarongo, approximately 64km before Otjiwarongo the turnoff is marked clearly by a Mount Etjo Safari sign on the left hand side of the road. Turn left onto road D2483. Follow the gravel road for approximately 40km. Mount Etjo is to your right, the entrance of the gate is sign boarded Mount Etjo Safari Lodge. Lodge is approximately 230 km from Windhoek
From the North
Follow the C33 from Otjiwarongo to Kalkfeld. In Kalkfeld turn left, follow the only road that leads over the railway, and follow the Mount Etjo Safari Lodge signs. Follow road D 2414 for approximately 17km. Turn left onto D 2483, the turn-off is marked clearly by a Mount Etjo Safari Lodge signboard. Follow D 2483 for approximately 15 km, Mount Etjo is to your left, the entrance of the gate is sign boarded Mount Etjo Safari Lodge.
Please note that during the rainy season Road 2483 from the B1 is usually not in a very good condition. Contact the Lodge (00264-67-290176) on your day of arrival for the conditions of the roads and which would be the best route to reach us.
